FOREST CITY, Iowa (AP) -- Recreation vehicle maker Winnebago Industries Inc. said Tuesday that its board of directors has named Randy Potts president of the company.
Potts, 52, has been with Winnebago for 27 years, and since 2009 has served as senior vice president of strategic planning. He assumes his new role as president immediately.
Bob Olson will remain chairman and CEO.
"Randy has a great working knowledge of the Company and its operations, having worked in senior management positions within Winnebago Industries for over a decade," said Olson.
Potts was hired at Winnebago in 1983 as a senior tool designer. He was promoted to other engineering roles and various management positions. He served as vice president of manufacturing between 2006 and 2009.
